PSYCHOLOGIST IN ZEEWOLDE - MIND@EASE
QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. As an independent basic psychologist and consciously without BIG and NIP registration, associated with MIND@EASE, I meet the professional standard, as laid down in the Professional Code of the Dutch NIP (2015):
“The basic principles are that the psychologist behaves responsibly, with integrity, respect and expertise.”
“Development of the basic principles:
Article 10 Responsibility
Psychologists recognize their professional and scientific responsibility towards those involved, their environment and society. Psychologists are responsible for their professional actions. To the best of their ability, they ensure that their services and the results of their actions are not misused.
Article 11 Integrity
Psychologists strive for integrity in the scientific practice, teaching, and application of psychology. In their actions, psychologists show honesty, equal treatment, and openness towards those involved. They provide clarity to those involved about the roles they fulfill and act accordingly.
Article 12 Respect
Psychologists respect the fundamental rights and dignity of those involved. They respect the right of data subjects to privacy and confidentiality.
They respect and promote their self-determination and autonomy as far as this is compatible with the other professional obligations of psychologists and with the law.
Article 13 Expertise
Psychologists strive to acquire and maintain an important level of expertise in their professional practice. They respect the limits of their expertise and the limitations of their experience. They only provide services for which they are qualified through education, training, and experience. The same also applies to the methods and techniques they use.
HANDLING COMPLAINTS
Naturally, MIND@EASE -with due observance of the above Quality Assurance- will make every effort to prevent complaints. Care, and in particular a professional relationship in psychological care, is and will remain human work. In the unlikely event of disagreement, dissatisfaction, or a complaint, we first try to resolve it with a good conversation.
As a self-employed person, who falls under the Care Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (WkkGZ), I am affiliated with a disputes committee. If we cannot find a solution, you can submit a (again: unexpected) dispute to this committee: www.erisietsmisgaan.nl.
