QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. As a self-employed basic psychologist and consciously without BIG and NIP registration, affiliated with MIND@EASE, I meet the professional standards as laid down in the NIP Code of Conduct (2015):

“The basic principles are that the psychologist behaves responsibly, with integrity, respectfully and expertly.”

“Elaboration of the basic principles:

Article 10 Responsibility

Psychologists recognize their professional and scientific responsibility towards those involved, their environment, and society. Psychologists are accountable for their professional conduct. To the extent within their power, they ensure that their services and the results of their work are not misused.

Article 11 Integrity

Psychologists strive for integrity in the practice of science, education, and the application of psychology. In their actions, psychologists demonstrate honesty, equal treatment, and openness towards those involved. They clarify their roles with those involved and act accordingly.

Article 12 Respect

Psychologists respect the fundamental rights and dignity of data subjects. They respect the right of data subjects to privacy and confidentiality.

They respect and promote his or her self-determination and autonomy to the extent that this is compatible with the psychologists' other professional obligations and with the law.

Article 13 Expertise

Psychologists strive to acquire and maintain a high level of professional competence in their practice. They observe the limits of their expertise and the limitations of their experience. They offer only services for which they are qualified through education, training, and experience. This also applies to the methods and techniques they use.

DEALING WITH COMPLAINTS

Naturally, MIND@EASE will do everything in its power to prevent complaints, taking into account the above-mentioned Quality Assurance. Care, and especially professional relationships in mental health care, is and will always be a human endeavor. In the unlikely event of a disagreement, dissatisfaction, or complaint, we will first try to resolve the matter through a friendly discussion.

As a self-employed professional (ZZP'er), covered by the Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (WkkGZ), I am affiliated with a disputes committee. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can submit a dispute (again: unexpected) to this committee: www.erisietsmisgaan.nl.
